Fab Five No. 3

Another fabulous week at Sweet Paper! Except for the fact that every 5 seconds there was a tweet, blog, or update about anybody in the stationery community talking about how excited they were for the National Stationery Show this following week in NYC.. spiraling me deeper and deeper into a endless ocean of jealousy.  Theresa and Julie have already departed for what they refer to as their “mecca”, but no worries, I am here to hold down the Sweet Paper fort!

Here is a look into the past week!

Monday:
Theresa and I died and went to creative business card heaven after peeping these practically perfect business cards from Jon Stapp, the owner of Atomic Vibe, an award winning art and graphic design studio.  These two ply, neon, letterpressed, die cut beauties are sure to catch the eye of anybody.

atomic vibe's business cards are out of this world!

Tuesday:
Some more favorites from Thomaspaul are these Nautical Pins.  A cute whale, captain’s wheel, and red anchor are sure to make a splash as an accessory to any outfit!  I even used them to jazz up some gift wrap (see Wednesday for more details).

Jump ship & head down to Sweet Paper to pick up a nautical pin!

Wednesday:
Today I was given the task of wrapping some display boxes to show off some of our fabulous gift wrap… After pondering all my options for an entire afternoon, I decided on these bright boxes!  I added one of the thomaspaul pins to a tulle bow for a little something extra to create a perfectly presented present.

no surprise that I went for the chevron and striped wrap!

Thursday:
Gifts for dad’s have started arriving in store!  Along side some great “mandles” (man-scented candles) were these fantastic brass plated letter openers from Izola, a special something for the snail mail lover in your life.

shiny and bright for sophisticated letter opening

Friday:
The weather is suppose to be tip top this weekend!  If you can’t make it out to the surf yourself, take a peek at the pages of this picture book instead! A great gift for any beach lover! Many of the pictures are taken her in Sunny So-Cal.

A great coffee table addition for any summer home!
