Fab Five Week… who knows.

Much like a New Years resolution… it seams that the goal of a Saturday morning post lasted but three weeks… but I have hopped back on the blogging horse and will prevail this week with all the exciting adventures that have previously been brushed under the Fab Five rug.

One:
You may have heard us say this a time or two already… but in case you missed the memo… we love neon.  We decided to profess our love to this totally awesome trend by dedicating  a new summer window display to some fantastic brights.  Come and check it out!

Step One of our Window Displays

Two:
We had so much fun at Urban Style’s summer event!! Fabulous food, photo booth fun, delicious drinks, and of course 200 of these little guys in all the great swag bags! We hope everyone loved the Sweet Paper Thank You Notes! It was a blast to mix and mingle with other creative minds in the wedding industry!

Thanks to Urban Style for Such a great event!!

Three:
After the event we had the pleasure of dashing to a late night press check!  It was here where I laid my eyes on an original Heidelberg Letterpress for the very first time, as well as getting a great lesson on ink color mixing. Dreams do come true.

Hello Lover

Four:
Julie and Theresa must have decided to stay a while at the new location on Fay Street, and made it official by working hard to put up our new beautiful vinyl window decor!
I clearly saw this as a “too many cooks in the kitchen” type of situation and sought refuge inside.

One Sweet Sign

Five:
La Jolla Town Council put on the very first Haute La Jolla Nights! It was so much fun to keep our doors open a little later and enjoy the live music that was playing throughout town. We invited Under the Crust to camp out at our door, so we also had the pleasure of snacking on mini pies all night!! The next night time festivities are scheduled for July 21st.

Looking forward to next time!

Very nice! Love the photos! And yes, it’s an art to mixing colors. I always loved watching Mitch working with them to get just the right tones, hues, etc.
