White foil is a great way to get opaque white on colored paper

Monday:
Sweet Paper had the pleasure of working with one very creative groom, whose final invitation design left our jaws dropped. Letterpress and white foil printed by Spark, this very custom wedding suite was… well.. pretty sweet. Shades of grey blended seamlessly with white foil, while orange edge painting, reply card and envelope liner brought in great color.

Tuesday:
We love the hand illustrations from Mr. Boddington’s Studio and gladly stocked our shelves with more birthday, wedding and baby cards from the creative line. I could think of more than a few people that would find this birthday card relevant.

Thursday:
It’s official! Sweet Paper now has just about any color twine you could hope to find. From red, reddish pink and pink to green, greenish blue and blue, we’ve got the rainbow covered. “What about the pot of gold at the end?” you might be asking. A spool of copper shine should suffice, and we have that too.

When Exquisite Weddings Magazine asked us to style a Bachelorette Weekend photo shoot at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach we jumped at the chance! How can you say no to that?!! We called our girl Ashley Elizabeth to get on board and away we went.

Monday:
It is not uncommon for our chic brides to request our go-to calligrapher Wendy Ware to match the fonts on their invitation. But what to do when the design of the invitation is based on using different type styles? Match all of them of course! Wendy did such a great job using different calligraphy styles on the addresses, we are so glad she made us our own sample to keep!

Tuesday:
Our Morse Code necklace order from Coatt received an upgrade this time around. These delicate dotted and dashed beauties are now strung on a gold chain. Sweetheart, sister, friend and carpe diem are some styles now available at Sweet Paper, but don’t forget you can customize your own secret message!

Wednesday:
This shipment from Haute Papier was so bright, we had to wear shades! The bright ink makes these neon notes an extra fun mode of correspondence. I’m partial to the fluorescent orange thank you notes printed with zebras… a wild way to use stripes!

Thursday:
We have new yummy scents in for summer from Linnea’s Lights! New to the clean burning soy candle line is Grapefruit. It’s my personal favorite because it is crisp and citrusy without being too sweet. Oceans and Sea Salt are also back by popular demand, both are perfect fragrances for sea side living.

A much anticipated parcel arrived at the shop yesterday from STUDIOSARAH, a luxury British stationery brand created by Sarah Silver.

Refined typography, a tasteful color palette and high quality materials made us fall head over heels for this line from across the pond. I must say, Sarah’s foil stamped greeting cards and notebooks look quite lovely on the shelves at Sweet Paper!

Monday:
I love everything about this letterpress wedding announcement by Bella Figura. Mint is my favorite color (this week) and this cool hue is the perfect shade. Although simple, the layout is not short on details that add a fun element to the announcement. Hot pink edge painting is the perfect finish.

Tuesday:
