The week at Sweet Paper started off on a high note when Bella Figura featured our customization of the Deveril letterpress design on their blog. Our bride used an overflowing floral motif to add detail to the reply card, information insert, black pocketfold and envelope. We are glad our friends over at Bella Figura loved this customization as much as we did!

Tuesday: Ever since we installed paper flower decor in our windows, our shoppers have been giving rave reviews of our handy work! One of our customers enjoyed it so much, she requested one to be made as bridal shower decor to display in her home! Using her requested palette of corals, oranges and persimmon, we cut, scrunched, and glued our way to another beautiful paper perfection.

Banners are a great way to personalize any kind of festivity! Our great garland popped up in the summer issue of Exquisite Weddings and we couldn’t me more excited! I had such a great time working with a mother-of-the-bride on these tone-on-tone letterpress wedding invitations from Spark’s impressive Impress line! Her favorite part? She loves the idea of dropping the traditional inner envelope and enclosing the suite with shimmery vellum instead. A band with the bride and groom’s initials wrap the look and the pieces together.

I love to receive packages from Noon Design! These fabulous local ladies are great creators of jewelry, candles, pottery, and of course- stationery! Their earrings always fly off the shelf here are Sweet Paper, so a new order for bright summer colors was an absolute must! My favorites from the group include a cool mint, fresh melon and yummy blueberry!

Sweet Paper had the honor of designing the invitations for Modern Luxury Brides’ “Sunset Affair of Bridal Inspiration.” We partnered with Smock who letterpress printed, foil stamped and edge painted a whopping 700 invitations! Julie, Katie and I think the end result is stunning, and we hope you do too!

My love for this pale pink print happened as easy as un, duex, trois! Anna from Rifle Paper Co. has done it again with this whimsical handwritten graphic. The print measures 16″x20″, not too big, not to small, but just right.

With “The Great Gatsby” movie release coming this May, art deco has been on trend for some time now. When I saw the Ortensia wedding gown from Bhldn I fell in love, and the rest of my art deco wedding inspiration just fell into place. Gold, black and blush tones pair perfectly with geometric patterns and soft florals. And the Odeon invitation by Bella Figura is just right for this art deco affair.
